Stony Creek contamination warning

Today the Virginia Department of Health and the Department of Environmental Quality revealed that Stony Creek in Dinwiddie is contaminated with fecal coliform, following weeks of discoloration and a strong smell coming from that area. Officials were first alerted about the contamination July 24th after receiving complaints from a resident.
