Strasburg goes from drought watch to warning

Residents and businesses should take additional, voluntary steps to conserve water, Assistant Town Manager Jay McKinley said in the alert. The town issued a drought watch in late July when river flows dipped to 173 cubic feet per second, just below the threshold set by the state for Strasburg's water treatment plant.
