Street paving and striping to close lanes on SW Fifth Avenue beginning March 25, Permanent lane changes provide important bikeway connection

The City of Portland Bureau of Transportation advises the traveling public that street improvements will require lane closures on Southwest Fifth Avenue between Southwest Broadway and Southwest Sheridan Street beginning Monday, March 25, through Thursday, March 28, from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays. The public is advised to expect delays, travel cautiously, observe all lane closures and directions by flaggers, and use alternate routes if possible.
