Streetcar, Couture spending plans gain final approval from MPS, MATC

Milwaukee's proposal to use taxing districts to pay for the downtown streetcar's construction picked up a final needed approval Thursday from local governments including Milwaukee Public Schools . The streetcar would be built using $49.3 million from two tax incremental financing districts .
