A 23-year-old biomedical engineering student is one of two first-place winners in the 2020 James Dyson Award. Her invention aims to help women around the world afford the cost of early testing for breast cancer. Judit Gir� Benet captured the $35,000 cash prize for developing The Blue Box, an at-home reusable breast cancer screening device.
