Construction is under way at Summers Corner, a tract of land between Beech Hill Road and Summers Drive in Summerville. The land is part of East Edisto, a 72,000-acre property spanning Dorchester and Charleston counties and owned by MeadWestvaco, which recently merged with RockTenn to become WestRock.
