TORONTO, Aug. 7, 2015 -- SunOpta Inc. , a leading global company focused on organic, non-genetically modified and specialty foods, announced today that in accordance with Section 461.4 of the Toronto Stock Exchange Company Manual the individuals listed below were elected as directors of SunOpta Inc. at its annual meeting of shareholders held on May 28, 2015 to hold office until the next annual meeting of shareholders or until their successors are appointed. The detailed results of the vote are as follows: The final voting results on all matters voted on at the annual shareholders meeting were previously posted on the Company's SEDAR profile at www.sedar.com on June 2, 2015.
