Sunrise confirms advanced talks to acquire UPC Switzerland for CHF 6.3 billion

(Telecompaper) Swiss operator Sunrise confirmed that it's in advanced talks with Liberty Global about a possible takeover of cable operator UPC Switzerland for an enterprise value of CHF 6.3 billion. As previously stated, Sunrise reiterated that no final decision had been made and that it would only pursue the deal if it provided strategic advantage and value for shareholders.
