Supreme Court declines industry appeal to void 2016 net neutrality ruling

(Telecompaper) The US Supreme Court has declined to hear a case brought by the telecom industry seeking to overturn a ruling that upheld the previous net neutrality rules, NPR reports. The industry had hoped to have the ruling quashed in order to avoid any continued legal precedent for the rules passed in 2015 under the Obama administration.
