Business Green: Almost half of British consumers would shift to a green electricity supply if the cost was the same, but less than two per cent have actually made the switch, new research reveals.
A poll of 1,017 people conducted by Ipsos Mori found 46 per cent would "switch to a new electricity company if they could get energy that was more environmentally friendly at a comparable price".
This compares to only 11 per cent saying they would not make the move, with 43 per cent undecided.
