Sussex officials can't force removal of tire pile

The owner of an abandoned property just outside of the county seat has outlasted efforts by Georgetown officials, the county's code enforcement staff, environmental regulators, the fire marshal's office and the lot's neighbors to make a large, ugly pile of abandoned tires on the property disappear.
