T-Mobile US to roll out nationwide NB-IoT by mid-2018, 5G in 2020

(Telecompaper) The company earlier held live field-tests of NB-IoT services in Las Vegas, together with Qualcomm and Ericsson. It says it will now launch the service continent-wide in mid-2018. The network will also support Cat-M, another IoT standard with also voice support, in 2018.
