(Telecompaper) Adel Al-Saleh, the new CEO of T-Systems, Deutsche Telekom's corporate arm, announced plans to split the subsidiary into two separate companies that should both be supported by a "true sales leader" chosen from among external candidates, reported German business daily Handelsblatt. Al-Saleh unveiled T-Systems' new strategy to increase efficiency and the quality of its offerings to the company's management on 15 January, and this includes the separation of its "classic" IT business units from the rest of the company, a spokesman from T-Systems confirmed to Handelsblatt.
