Tata Motors is reported to be cutting off CX and LX variants of Nano with manual steering and introducing new Nano Twist XE base variant with power steering, soon. Currently there are seven variants of Tata Nano, six petrol and two CNG - Tata Nano STD, CX, LX, New Nano CX, LX, Nano Twist XT and Nano CNG eMax XM.
