Telstra chief backs piracy plan

Telstra chief executive David Thodey has backed the federal government's latest plan to tackle illegal downloading, which gives internet service providers 120 days to propose a code of conduct. Mr Thodey said the government's decision to handball the onus of tackling piracy back to the telecommunications companies was correct, when speaking at an American Chamber of Commerce in Australia event.
