(Telecompaper) Thai telecom regulator, the National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission (NBTC), plans to hold another round of auction for 4G spectrum in late June. The decision follows Jasmine's failure to pay an initial payment for the mobile licence. The regulator will review the starting price for the 900MHz spectrum in June and existing operators including True Corp, have the right to join the auction, The Times of India reports, citing Takorn Tantasith, NBTC secretary general. The regulator will hold a board meeting on 12 April to approve the new schedule of auction plan, Tantasith said.
