The Morning Rundown: General Motors compensation program could be broader than previously thought

So far, General Motors has acknowledged 13 deaths due to faulty ignition switches in its cars, but the car maker may open a compensation program to far more people, as some public officials insist there may be more than 100 deaths attributable to the design flaw, according to a report by Reuters.
