NJ Transit will decide whether to hike fares by an average of 9 percent in a board meeting on July 8. Shuttling people from their homes to their jobs should be a milk run - an efficient, affordable, convenient experience - yet New Jersey Transit has managed to turn it into a bureaucratic abomination.
