Adhering to ceramics, glasses, and metals, Crystalbond™ 509 is suitable for temporarily mounting substrates that require dicing, grinding, or polishing operations. Thermoplastic adhesive is applied by preheating mounting plate to 250°F, melting and spreading adhesive in uniform layer, then positioning part over adhesive, allowing entire assembly to cool. After processing, Crystalbond™ is dissolved in acetone or Aremco’s 509-S cleaning agent that leaves no film or residue.
