Author: TLaughSubject: Unwanted grout on Travertine surfacePosted: 13 Jan 2010 at 10:29amJust installed Noce travertine in the Versaille pattern in the kitchen. Using unsanded grout, the spaces between each stone were filled as well as the pits on the surface. I am not happy with the visible grout on the SURFACE of the stone.   I understand that larger pits should be filled to prevent spills from being unreachable to clean, but much of the beauty of the natural discolorations are lost. Two Questions... 1. What is the best way to remove the grout from the smaller pits on the surface? The stone has not been sealed yet. 2. Also are there any "enhancing" sealers?
