Tree worker injured in fall in Townsend

A worker for M. Flagg Tree Services in Lunenburg was seriously injured Monday at a job on 72 Ash St. The man was working in a tree when his support cable snapped and he fell to the ground, according to another worker at the site. According to Townsend Fire Chief Mark Boynton, the man was suspended about 50 feet from the ground at the time of the incident.
