Twin Cities janitors on strike, protesting alleged wage theft

Janitors who clean more than 50 Twin Cities big box stores, supermarkets and auto dealerships walked off their jobs Tuesday morning to protest alleged wage theft by a third-party custodial services contractor. Workers from Service Employees International Union Local 26 and Centro de Trabajadores Unidos en la Lucha began picketing at 6 a.m. outside Macy's in downtown Minneapolis.
