Twitter plans to expand in Latin America

(Telecompaper) Almost two years after starting its operations in Brazil, Twitter is planning to expand in Latin America, naming Carlos Moreira Junior to foster partnerships with content producers and celebrities in the region, reports Valor Economico. The goal is to ensure that sentences or phrases preceded by the hash symbol are present in TV shows, sports broadcasts and other actions promoted by companies or by the celebrities.
