Guardian: Air pollution levels in London, Birmingham, and Leeds will exceed European limits until at least 2030, newly-published figures show. In a case at the European court of justice on Thursday lawyers for the commission described the UK's failure to act on the breach as "perhaps the longest running infringement of EU law in history." The UK has exceeded the EU's nitrogen dioxide (NO2) pollution limit since 2010, leading the European commission and environmental lawyers to launch separate legal actions...
