U-M President Schlissel Appoints Interim Athletic Director

University of Michigan president Mark Schlissel today announced he was appointing James Hackett , the recently retired chief executive officer of Michigan-based Steelcase Inc., as interim athletic director for the university. The announcement was made during a press conference where Schlissel said Dave Brandon , U-M's Donald R. Shepherd Director of Athletics since 2010, had submitted his resignation.
