U.S. Steel warns additional 1,404 employees of potential layoffs

United States Steel Corp. may have further job cuts throughout its tubular operations, a spokeswoman for the company confirmed Monday. A total of 1,404 employees on Friday were issued notices under the Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification Act.
