UPM-Kymmene to Cut Newsprint Production

Finnish paper maker UPM-Kymmene on Tuesday said it will reduce the production of paper for the publishing industry by 675,000 tonnes after it completed negotiations to close three paper machines in Finland and the U.K. UPM will permanently close two paper machines in Finland and one paper machine in the U.K. by the end of March 2015.
