UPS to raise rates in 2015

United Parcel Service will raise rates for 2015 an average 4.9 percent for Ground, Air, International, UPS Freight, and UPS air freight service within and between the U.S., Canada and Puerto Rico. The new rates begin Dec. 29. In another rate change, Atlanta-based UPS said in June it will apply dimensional weight pricing to all UPS Ground services and UPS Standard to Canada packages.
