In the most recent first-quarter filings from US apparel brands and retailers, VF Corp maintained its outlook, despite a fall in earnings and margins. Skechers, Carter's and Columbia Sportswear, meanwhile, all recorded record sales performances for the quarter, while Under Armour posted another solid quarter of revenue growth. Rocky Brands swung to a net loss, while Steve Madden said its retail division had a standout quarter as earnings and revenues both grew.
