US Q2 in brief - Urban Outfitters, Nordstrom, The Children's Place

In the latest second-quarter filings from US apparel and footwear brands and retailers, the impact of the global coronavirus pandemic and widespread store closures can be clearly seen. Both Nordstrom and The Children's Place swung to a net loss, while Urban Outfitters has reported a 43% drop in net income. Elsewhere, Foot Locker saw earnings tumble by a quarter on last year and Kohl's saw sales decline by 22.9%.
