US Q3 in brief: Macy's, American Apparel, Black Diamond

In the most recent third-quarter filings from US apparel brands and retailers, Kate Spade & Co returned to profit, while Columbia Sportswear Co, Sequential Brands and Under Armour have lifted their full-year guidance. American Apparel narrowed its third-quarter loss but expects sales to decline, while Macy's booked lower sales and earnings. Weyco and Black Diamond also saw net earnings fall, Steve Madden lowered its sales outlook for the full year, and Zalando swung to a net loss.
