US Q4 in brief - American Eagle Outfitters, Abercrombie & Fitch, Dollar Tree

In the latest fourth-quarter filings from US apparel and footwear brands and retailers, American Eagle Outfitters has booked a 6% rise in total revenue, while Ross Stores has delivered "strong sales and earnings growth", and Urban Outfitters reported a drop in fourth-quarter earnings. Elsewhere, department store retailer Target Corp has booked a rise in both total revenue and net earnings, sales at Crocs have increased by 21.8%, and JCPenney said it expects to close at least six stores in the year ahead following a drop in fourth-quarter sales and net income.
