(Telecompaper) The US Deputy Secretary of Commerce Bruce Andrews announced he will lead a delegation of 20 American companies on a Cybersecurity Trade Mission to Bucharest, Romania, and Warsaw, Poland on 11-15 May. The trade mission will help US companies launch or increase their business operations in Central and Southeast Europe, specifically connecting them with businesses and government leaders in Romania and Poland. According to Andrews, the trade mission is part of the commitment to combatting the growing threat of cyber threats and protecting critical infrastructure in the US and among its European allies. The following companies will join Deputy Secretary Andrews on the cybersecurity trade mission: Cask, Cisco Systems, Creative Information Technology, CSC, CyberPoint International, DataLocker, F5 Networks, Fidelis Cybersecurity, FireEye, General Dynamics Information Technology, Glimmerglass Cyber Solutions, Hewlett Packard, IBM, Information Unlimited, Lockheed Martin, Microsoft, Oracle, Palo Alto Networks, Raytheon IIS and WhiteHat Security.
