Under Armour Inc. has signed a deal with one of the greatest athletes in American sports history as it continues to position itself as a major threat to rival Nike Inc. Under Armour on Wednesday announced a multiyear agreement with Authentic Brands Group LLC, which manages legendary boxer Muhammad Ali . The Baltimore sportswear maker will use vintage video, photos and quotes from Ali in a marketing campaign that will launch in March.
