United Way honors its volunteers

The United Way's highest volunteer honor is the J. Erik Jonsson Award, named after the president and co-founder of Texas Instruments, also a four-term Dallas mayor and co-founder of the local United Way. Last year's Jonsson Award winner, Roger Staubach, presented this year's award to Gummer, retired president for Comerica 's Texas market.
