UPGRADED WASHINGTON EXPORT FACILITY JOINTLY OWNED BY CHS, CARGILL OPENS Jun. 17, 2015 Source: CHS news release The nation's farmers are now more competitive in the world marketplace due to recently completed upgrades at the TEMCO Grain Export Facility, which was celebrated by elected officials and company management today. Following a two-year construction project, the TEMCO terminal, jointly owned by CHS Inc. and Cargill, now has the capacity to handle up to 6 million metric tons of grains and oilseeds annually, cleaning and storing, then transferring the commodities that arrive by rail and barge to oceangoing vessels - an increase of nearly three-times the previous capacity.
