Chemists at Oxford developed a technique to print synthetic cell microdroplets into complex 3D geometries. These structure can bend, fold, and conduct electric signals through predefined pathways. While authors stop short of calling their new creations 3D printed brains, undoubtedly the thought has crossed their minds.
