Valero Energy Corp.'s stock fell nearly 5 percent at the end of trading on Monday upon news late in the day that the energy sector took a hit with a sudden drop in the price crude oil, The Street reported . Valero's stock closed Monday at $58.67, down 4.9 percent from previous levels.
