Whole Foods , which was founded by vegetarian John Mackey , has found itself at the center of a vegan protest. According to the Daily Beast on Monday, a D.C. Whole Foods was swarmed with protesters from Direct Action Everywhere, a vegan "animal liberation" activist group.
