Verizon (VZ) Declares 55c Quarterly Dividend

The new quarterly dividend is a 3.8% increase from the telecommunications company's previous dividend of 53 cents a share. The dividend is payable on Nov. 3 to all shareholders of record as of the close of business on Oct. 10. The ex-dividend date is Oct. 8.
