Part of prefabricated automated cell, Vertical Center Nexus Compact 5X incorporates standalone robot and palletizer system for processing of 72 individual workpieces. System comes in 3- and 5-axis versions and handles workpieces up to 3.9 x 3.9 x 3.9 in. In addition to 12,000 rpm, 25 hp, CAT 40 spindle, machine features 3 linear axes that attain rapid traverse rates of 1,417 ipm and feedrates of 315 ipm. For 5-axis machining, table rotates and tilts at speeds of 100 rpm and 75 rpm, respectively.
