VimpelCom exits Cambodia market

(Telecompaper) VimpelCom announced it has sold its entire indirect stake in Soltelco in Cambodia to its local partner, Mr. Huot Vanthan. This marks the mobile operator's exit of the Cambodian market. No financial details of the takeover were disclosed. It was unclear whether Sotelco will retain rights to Vimpelcom's brand Beeline in the market.
