Made from mixture of select vegetable oils, OptiBase Viscosity Modifiers impart polarity and optimized lubricity. Products come in 4 viscosity ranges of 100–200, 300–500, 500–1,000, and 1,500 cSt at 40°C. Primarily based on triglycerides or triglycerides that contain hydroxyl groups, oils are extremely shear-stable and readily mix with many mineral, bio-based, and synthetic oils.
