Vodafone UK and CityFibre have struck a deal to roll out fibre-to-the-premises (FTTP) services to up to 5 million homes and businesses in the U.K. by 2025. The pair will jointly invest £500 million (€564 million) in the initial phase of the project, which will take 1 GB broadband to 1 million premises by 2021.
