Vonage expands in call centre market with takeover of NewVoiceMedia for USD 350 mln

(Telecompaper) Vonage announced an agreement to acquire NewVoiceMedia, a cloud Contact Center-as-a-Service (CCaaS) provider, for an equity price of USD 350 million in cash. The deal builds on Vonage's expansion into the business services and UCaaS market with a strong player in the growing segment of contact centres.
