Under bankruptcy plan of reorganization, W.R. Grace & Co. paid over $63 million to resolve claims for environmental cleanups at 39 sites in 21 states contaminated by asbestos and other hazardous substances. Payment includes $54 million for EPA and another $9 million to other federal agencies, including US Department of Interior and US Army.
