Designed to protect oven surfaces between scheduled maintenance, XT-Armor Oven Shield is painted onto cooling surfaces, where flux sticks to coating and then is peeled off. Product is light opaque blue when wet, and cures to translucent dark blue. Over 4–6 week period, depending on oven usage, coating changes to dark teal, which means it is time to peel. Coating is low odor, non-hazardous, and non-flammable, as well as environmentally friendly with zero VOC, zero GWP, and no halides.
