Consisting of arylalkoxysilane monomer with very faint odor, GENIOSIL® XL 70 Additive is suitable for products that must avoid unpleasant odors when applied. Clear, colorless, low-viscosity silane has flash point of 96°C as per ISO 3679. As silane-curing adhesives and sealants react with water, product protects polymers from moisture inherent to formulation via fillers and other ingredients. Water scavenger also ensures that product can be used without restriction throughout minimum shelf life.
