Water advisory lifted for Pigg River after spill

Late last week, approximately 30,000 gallons of cow manure from a holding lagoon near the intersection of Calico Rock Road and Six Mile Post Road, west of Rocky Mount, spilled into a small tributary that feeds into the Pigg River.
