TODAY reports: Export-oriented and tourist-dependent firms could see their goods and services become more competitive, although those reliant on imports could feel the pinch from a weakened dollar. SINGAPORE: Export-oriented and tourist-dependent businesses on Wednesday welcomed the boost from the Monetary Authority of Singapore's unexpected decision to slow down the appreciation of the Singapore dollar.
